General Membership Meeting
Wednesday the 20th. at 7 PM.
This time we will
visit with Freedom Aviation and the new "Phoenix" Aircraft in the old Micco
hangar. Brian Warner has invited us to check out
their new facility with a tour. Mike has visited
with Brian and reports it really is a high performance
kit style aircraft. Check out their web site at
www.freedom-aviation.com . We need to rally
over there 6:45 so we can start the tour by
7:00. There will be Coffee and Donuts
starting at 18:00 at the Chapter Clubhouse...
bring a guest!
No words regarding the Directors
meeting.
(Thank Mike Ketchpaw for great guest
speakers and field trips.) |

'INSIDE' OSHKOSH TV
SPECIAL TO PREMIERE FEBRUARY 22
You
may recall seeing or hearing about two crews
from National Geographic Television on the
grounds at AirVenture Oshkosh last year. They
were taping segments of the event for a one-hour
PBS special about some of the inside elements of
organizing and operating The World's Greatest
Aviation Celebration. Well, after several months
of reviewing nearly 100 hours of footage, the
special is finished and will premiere on Friday,
February 22, at 9 p.m. (Eastern Time) on the
PBS/HD Channel. Check your local listings and
PBS outlet for local availability, since this
channel may not be available in all regions. |
